Kaufmann Memorial Lecture
Kaufmann Memorial Lecture
The Kaufmann Memorial Lecture honors the scientific legacy of Prof. Hans Paul Kaufmann, founder of the German Society for Fat Science (DGF), initiator of the International Society for Fat Research (ISF), and a leading figure in fostering international collaboration in the field of fats and oils.
Originally delivered at ISF congresses, the lecture has been continued since 2023 as a prestigious feature of Euro Fed Lipid congresses. It is awarded to individuals whose lifelong contributions have significantly advanced lipid science and technology.
Each Kaufmann Memorial Lecturer receives a medal and a certificate of recognition.
The selection of speakers is made by the Board of the DGF.
